Fantini: design taps

It has been since 1947 that on the shores of Lake Orta, Fantini has been manufacturing bathroom taps with extreme care, attentive to the use of materials and lines for these elements capable of characterizing the environment. A solid reality made in Italy which, however, with its tap collections has managed to conquer the world. In fact, the company is established in 50 countries and is thus an international reference point for design.

Not only mixers, but also shower taps, shower columns and waterfall shower heads to enrich this bathroom space with taste, functionality and aesthetic sense. Advanced products, also born from the company's partnership with other companies, such as the Boffi company. From this collaboration in 2010 the Aboutwater brand was born, with two series of taps designed by Piero Lissoni and Naoto Fukasawa. Over time, there are many products born from the creativity of leading figures in the panorama of architecture with whom Fantini collaborates. An opening process that in the 1970s led to the birth of the I Balocchi collection, fun and colorful, designed by Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti. The Calibro series, also the result of the collaboration with the two designers, is a global success, so much so that it becomes part of the permanent collection of Moma in New York. The collaborations continued in the 90s with Enzo Mari who created the Manovella collection, inspired by past lines and a retro taste. The famous designer Rodolfo Dordoni also contributed to Fantini's greatness with the series of iconic products Levante, Honorable Mention at the ADI Compasso d'Oro award, in 2014. Finally we mention the collaboration with Salvatori, Fontane Bianche. The project stems from a research on archetypal forms translated into pure geometry and reinterpreted in a contemporary key which is expressed in a collection of great value; Metaphor of the relationship between psyche and matter, the dialogue between circle and square runs through the entire collection. Icon of this line is the tapware for washbasins, bidets, shower heads and bathtub mixers with Matt Gunmetal PVD finish. Among the many collections it will be easy to find the model that fits the style of the home between colored wall taps, pleasant to the touch and sight and models with an essential, simple and timeless design. Elements that furnish together with accessories such as towel racks or soap dishes, signed by Fantini that perfectly match with the rest of the production.
