The collection of Dafne lamps, designed by Nigel Coates and produced by the Slamp brand, is inspired by the classic myth of Metamorphosis.
Just as the Nymph of the same name is depicted in her transformation from a woman to a shrub, the Dafne lamp is crossed by a delicate tone-on-tone decoration, inspired by the laurel plant.
This particular effect is made possible thanks to the superimposition of two layers of Opalflex, an exclusive material of Slamp, made with a mixture of technopolymers and glass crystals that make it transparent, bright, and at the same time light and unbreakable.
Available here in the Medium version, which can be installed both on the ceiling and on the wall, the Dafne lamp is characterized by its enveloping and delicate design, able to enhance any space and environment, be it classic or contemporary.
